I can’t believe it’s already been more than two weeks since my book launched, a month since my son was born, and we’re already only three months (if you include the entirety of October) until the end of the year!
But we’re cracking on! The sequel is now 15k words in (there’s a pretty sizeable delay in the form of a little boy who relies on me for constant care, what a pain!) but we’ll get there. The planned release is mid-year 2023 and this is still the case. By the way, I’m undecided whether I’ll call it The Last City, or The Last City of the Empire.
So decide for me! I’m leaving that decision up to you - let me know below!
Meanwhile, I’m smashing my own author goals, so be happy for me! In the last month, I’ve been featured in no less than three panels, just by putting my hand up. The best one I was a part of has to be the one at the National Young Writers’ Festival, but a close second is the one I was in this morning (you can catch the replay here):
Being in a festival panel, recognized for my contributions to literature has been a lifetime goal of mine, and I’ve smashed it in record time (2 weeks since being published!)
Have you got some good news to share? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
I’m also running a free promo for the Ebook at the moment if you want to pick that up. The response to the promo has been very encouraging so far.
I’ll piss off now,
NC
